Oral Hygiene
As we all know, it's very important to have well cared teeth, but having a good oral hygiene is more than having a nice smile or having that minty fresh breath. Little do we know, having a good oral hygiene results in being healthy, because our teeth is the first step towards our digestive system it's what helps us chew. As Dr. Preston mentioned to me, that one advice we all should inhale from senior citizens is to have a good set of teeth. It concerns a lot of senior citizens as they get older and it's reasonable. Well for example, if you have poor oral hygiene you increase the risk of developing a heart disease,

Ignite Talk
Can you trust your gut and is it reliable ?
So over the break, I went to work in the fields, and man was it hard, but I've been studying the game & I understand that I'm not doing it the same, I'm doing it better & with that mentality and trusting my gut, it is what has led me to make more boxes through out the years. My gut also led me to stay as a strawberry picker rather than working on a machine, stacking boxes, but i m cutting the check, so I'm happy I trusted my gut. So as I see myself I'm a wise wizard, I've become an expert combined by my mid and intuition. Over the summer I went hiking and I actually found this beautiful beach close to the dunes & my gut was what led me their so this sense of thinking really does the magic. In "Immigrants in our own Land" we see these men going to other countries for a better future & it's takes guts to do it & it also depends on the trust you give within your gut. All I can do now is wait, with my opportunities heading my way, my gut is what will decide for me.

Spring Break
I finally finished my confirmation and 1st communion, and what can I say, nothing has felt so much better than finally drinking that wine and eating the bread that is served at the masses. So, I'm taking this path to my faith much serious and well it as really taught me that having faith is what makes things special and that's how life should be.
Spring Break
So over spring break I worked at the fields with my mom, it's hard work and man I had totally forgotten how sore your back gets due to the harsh conditions you go through. At least I helped my mom make 205 boxes my first day back, however this one guy, which we call the "champion" due to them being the fastest to make boxes. So this man, the champion was 3 boxes away from making 300 boxes, it really is a hustle out here, but this has taught me to do good in school and trust my gut on the opportunities that are given to me.
Academy member
I think a person who understands this more than me would be Yamile, she's always been helpful for sticky situations like that seem to appear. Since she's also a girl, she seems to be more concerned about things than myself, and its pretty true that girls mature much faster than guys and maybe that is why she is able to provide something to the table.
Masterpiece Academy Topic
A skill I have would be trusting my gut, I think I have a great skill on seeing outcomes without me going through that situation. I really don't know whether I get lucky or its just me being like a physic, but I felt like I've become really good at it, since it has stopped me from getting into sticky situations. That voice in your head really does the trick, and its just the emotions you receive that really decide for you. At times I've trusted my gut and avoided talking to some girls, well why you may ask? Well because I'm a wise wizard and my gut seems to know it. So I think I've just become an expert at combing my linear mind and intuition.

Essay Ray Bradbury Fahrenheit 451
It is very interesting how a book can be published in the 1950's yet the author Ray Bradbury can make predictions that came true and are todays issues in society. Scientific fiction has always gotten that recognition of talking about something that has not been made yet in a matter of time it'll be a dream come true. Bradbury took his imagination to another level which is why he is known from his novel Fahrenheit 451. So some of the predictions he made were how members in Montag's society would be obsessed with their large flat screen TV's. As of today everyone has a plasma tv in their household, its not normal if you don't have a flat screen in your house. Ray Bradbury also talks about how everyone back then would enjoy reading and speaking to each other and now everyone is just so addicted to their electronics. I have to give him that, but what Bradbury doesn't speak about is how the society back in the 1950's would take newspapers and read while their large intestine was at work and now many go to the restroom with their phones so they can have something to read or watch while in the restroom. It's very interesting, Bradbury might have compared these old habits and thought of some up and coming technology that would have the same affect and I think any society is predictable if you have the imagination. Its very interesting how this man's writing would play such a big role in his novel. Bradbury uses a lot of symbolism and imagery and an example of this is the fire. The fire signifies as a symbol of destruction, it's weird how this story starts off with the book burning and next thing you now his whole city is burning. Another symbol are the mirrors and this represents when one is seeing his self reflection towards their lives. Ray really did a good job with his imagination maybe because during his era there was large mass productions of things he may of not expected to become a reality. Well Bradbury makes these characters extreme and non human because vacancy runs in ones life which is pretty weird and yet the bombs and the way society treats them just feels so unrealistic. To top this all off I just think this book was hands down good, and the predictions he makes are so accurate that I feel freaked out.

Books
If books weren't forced upon people, people would be curious about books like how in the book Fahrenheit people aren't allowed to read books but some people in the book are curious what books are like and they want to read them.

Questions from chapter book
1. Ray Bradbury, starts of his novel "it was a pleasure to burn" as a symbolic figure that refers to the firemen that wear 451 on their helmets and it also symbolizes destruction. Well it is more pleasurable to burn books than to read them because the Ray Bradbury states early in the book that he is already living in hell.
2. Books are compared to birds because just like birds our ideas can also fly away and lead to many
ideas.
3. The difference between Montag and Clarissa's lives is that Montag is emotionally detached in his own world while Clarissa is super curious about the world and life itself.
4. Montag's television is practically his life, his family as well and he relies on Tv just as how many rely on technology and how addicted many are. Technology ruins Montag's life because he now relies on a television when he once had his wife.
5.The narrator introduces us to Montag at this time of his life to see how his life perpetuates through the novel.
6. He introduces Clarissa first, so we see her perspective in this story and we watch the changes occur just like in the Great Gatsby.
7. The houses are fireproof because when the firemen burned the books, the houses wouldn't not burn.
8. Mildred needs or requires emergency service because we found out he has self-induced coma.
9.A mechanical hound is a machine and it's purposes is to kill people how break or violate the laws.
10. Clarisse is "anti social" because she doesn't think in such ways as a average human thinks in her society.
11. She lights the match because she would rather die as a human being than live as something that is less than human
12. Mildred and Montag hardly know each other, and are not in love with each other.

Fahrenheit Comment
Well, this story is pretty similar to the Great Gatsby by introducing us to two teenagers who are observing the ways of life and they see other people's experiences and thoughts and it is why this has stood out to me because it's similar to the Great Gatsby.

The Great Gatsby Hw
The truth that Gatsby tells Nick is that, while he was away at war he tried dying several times. Jordan also explains to Nick how Jay Gatsby would take care of Daisy when she was younger and how he told her something during a night and the next couple of days she ends up marrying her husband, so this chapter talks about Gatsbys past & present.

Remix of the Great Gatsby
Chapter 3 starts off when Gatsby’s chauffeur brings Nick an invitation to a party that Gatsby himself is throwing at his house. Nick then runs into Jordan who Nick questions a lot about Gatsby. So through out the story we are lost with the thought about who is the "Great Gatsby". So going further into the story we finally find out who's this man and he is about 32 years old and loves to call everyone "old sport". So this guy full of riches and throws parties at a constant time says" hes not good at throwing parties and likes to keep himself hidden". So the tables turn when Nick is curious about a mans life and earlier in the book it says that Nicks dad would tell Nick to too be curios about a man.

notes the Great Gatsby
If I were to go to Gatsby's party I think I'd feel uncomfortable because there is so many sides like the west and the east & the vibe at the party is so weird and obscured. I'd go and try to have a good time but the vibe is wrong.
I think Gatsby is probably sitting down somewhere in his party, however no one really knows who he is and it's that reason he blends in

Notes
I'm wondering and I'm hoping that Nick will end up telling his cousin that Tom is cheating on her.
The Great Gatsby
A remix that was shown off in chapter 1 was about a guy named Nick and he moves in a neighborhood full of rich people while he lives in a small house. Nick loves the point of view that he shares with these men, so after he goes and visits his cousin and somehow everyone doesn't show their true colors, however nick brings the real them when the speak. So Nick has this gift that brings everyone's true colors and it's pretty amazing. After he catches the billionaire outside in the dark know as Gatsby.

Page 12 paragraph 1
I'm still confused on the fact that Tom would say, "I've got a nice place here" it just confuses me why this man that just moved in and say this it's pretty confusing and weird.

Everything is a remix notes
So as I saw the video everything is a remix it was pretty fascinating that a remix not only meant ways to make music yet it involved everything that is known to be literature, so here's what I picked up from this video. So this remixes that are presented throughout the video helps show the way mixing and combing these two segments just help show the beauty of culture and the media. However there is some type of confusion between sampling and culture. So simple changes to a song or even putting a theme song to a show helps the object or person pop in your head as soon as you hear this type of sound due to thus being stuck in your head.

Music as Literature
Music can and Is considered literature due to the fact that people who make music use the ability to write, read and make this music have an emotion towards the audience. There are many different types of genres that involve music yet rap songs, Oprah, and symphonies being a different emotion and shows the beauty of what literature is all about. Literature is something that is a creativity brought into on piece of man kind to show the culture. So with this being said American literature is just the same, different ways to write yet it comes down to the same thing and that is showing the fundamental ways you can express your culture with pen and paper.
