Questions from chapter book

1. Ray Bradbury, starts of his novel "it was a pleasure to burn" as a symbolic figure that refers to the firemen that wear 451 on their helmets and it also symbolizes destruction. Well it is more pleasurable to burn books than to read them because the Ray Bradbury states early in the book that he is already living in hell.

5.The narrator introduces us to Montag at this time of his life to see how his life perpetuates through the novel.

6. He introduces Clarissa first, so we see her perspective in this story and we watch the changes occur just like in the Great Gatsby.

7. The houses are fireproof because when the firemen burned the books, the houses wouldn't not burn.

8. Mildred needs or requires emergency service because we found out he has self-induced coma.

9.A mechanical hound is a machine and it's purposes is to kill people how break or violate the laws.

10. Clarisse is "anti social" because she doesn't think in such ways as a average human thinks in her society.
